MailChimp Settings

If you have upgraded to Pro and want to use MailChimp here’s how to set things up:

MailChimp

  1. Login to MailChimp
  2. Go to your Profile > Extras > API Keys
  3. Copy your API key
  4. Create or select a list
  5. Go to the list Settings > List Name and Defaults
  6. Copy the list ID
  7. Go to the list Settings > List fields and *|MERGE|* tags
  8. Set the following fields:

Note: the Event Title is for QEM. You won’t need this for the QCF or QPP

WordPress

  1. Login to your WordPress dashboard
  2. For QEM Go to Settings > Event Manager > Extensions
  3. For QCF and QPP Go to Settings > Send Options
  4. Enter your Mailchimp List ID and API key
  5. If you want automated list additions check the ‘Optin not required’ box
  6. If you want an optin there is an Optin Checkbox in the form fields
